Dr. Doha Raik Hamza

Dr. Doha Raik Hamza Mohamed is an Assistant Professor at the Environmental and Energy Engineering School at Nile University in Egypt. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) under the supervision of Mohamed-Slim Alouini and Sonia Aissa. She also holds an M.Sc. in Wireless Technology from Nile University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with honors from Alexandria University.

Dr. Doha's research focuses on wireless communications, including cell-free massive MIMO, cognitive radio networks, resource allocation in space–air–ground integrated networks, matching theory algorithms, and learning methods for distributed multi-agent systems. Her work has been published in leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, and the IEEE Internet of Things Journal.

Before joining Nile University, she held academic and research positions at University of Prince Mugrin and KAUST, where she worked in the Communication Theory Lab and the Robotics, Intelligent Systems and Control Lab. Dr. Hamza is actively involved in engineering education, ABET accreditation activities, and reviewing for several IEEE journals. Her current research also explores green and intelligent communication technologies for future Internet-of-Things systems.
