Materials and Concrete Lab

The Materials and Concrete Lab capacity is 40 students. The lab is from ELE (UK). It includes heavy equipment such as flakiness sieves and shakers, concrete mixer, vibrators, steel molds, a large curing tank, a 2000 kN cube crushing and beam flexure machine, and non-destructive testing equipment such as Pundit ultrasonic device (Swiss) and Schmidt hammer.

Transportation and Asphalt Lab

The Transportation and Asphalt lab capacity is 30 students. The lab is from Controls (Italy) and is fully automated and includes equipment such as Los Angeles abrasion machines, Marshall compression testing, Marshall automatic sample compactor, CBR molds, asphalt mixer, bitumen oven, water bath, centrifuge extractor, and other apparatuses.

Hydraulics Lab

The hydraulics lab's capacity is 30 students. It is a demonstrative lab from Cussons (UK). It includes a digital hydraulic bench with water pumps and all valves, Osborne Reynolds apparatus, Bernoulli apparatus, turbulent and laminar flow, pipe surge, and water hammer.

Loading Frame Facility

The Loading Frame facility is used for large-scale testing of structural elements such as concrete beams, slabs, columns, footings, and steel members. The frame is a reactionless steel system made of HEA 300 beams with dimensions 3 x 3 x 2 meters, including a 30-ton hydraulic jack and load cell (Spain), electric pump, and data acquisition system (USA) with a computer for data analysis.

The Environmental Lab capacity is 20 students. The Lab is from ELE (UK). It includes a COD reactor, benchtop, turbidity meters, refrigerated incubator, distilled water still, spectrophotometer, laboratory flocculator, muffle furnace, glass bakers, and a set of different chemicals, and several other devices and meters.

The lab is from ELE (UK) and is fully automated and includes equipment used for basic soil classification such as sieves and shakers, Casagrande device, hydrometers, 50 kN direct shear machine; it is one-dimensional consolidation Odometer machine, 50 kN uniaxial compression machine, electric oven, and other apparatuses.

The Surveying Lab capacity is 30 students. The lab is from Sokkia (Japan). It includes modern equipment and tools used for engineering surveying works, such as three digital levels, three electronic theodolites, three total station devices, and a GPS device with two stations.
