A Public Lecture by Architect Eslam Malak for ARUD Students
The Architecture and Urban Design program at Nile University is delighted to invite Architect Eslam Malak for a public lecture.
Topic: Urban Sketching: The Art of Capturing Vital Moments (Architect Eslam Malak)
Time: November 16th, 2023 at 8:00 PM Cairo
A lecture will be held for the Architecture and Urban Design Program (ARUD) at Nile University, and the Architecture Engineering Department- at Horus University.
This lecture gives inspiration and different insights with professional visuals, techniques, and representations of urban sketching.
Eslam Malak is an architect at Verform Studio, and is teaching at different universities; Auc (American University in Cairo) and Galala University. He has a growing interest in both urban and architectural scales and how to create creative solutions. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Port Said University. Eslam has over five years of experience covering a wide range of fields including architecture, urban design, and urban upgrading. Eslam is an urban sketcher exploring many different areas including Historic Cairo, Port Saeed, Al Quseir, and Esna. He has sketched along many initiatives and institutions including Cairo Urban Sketchers, the Goethe-Institut, and Turathna. Eslam has given multiple lectures on urban sketching at universities including Port Said University, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST), and Nile University (NU).
