Mission & Objectives
The program provides students with the highest quality of education, strengthen ties and partnerships with the industry, and offer engineering services to the construction community to develop infrastructure in Egypt and the region. The program is committed to ongoing enhancement in the overall quality of teaching and learning, and scientific research to achieve its mission. The program is also responsible for contributing to scientific and technological progress in its fields of specialization by providing students with the theoretical, scientific, and technical basis that allows them to practice professional and research works in the industrial community or the research field or in research centers, such that the program's curriculum becomes a viable nucleus for completing postgraduate studies at the master's and doctorate levels. The program maintains the professional responsibility for continuing education and specialized training for engineers working in the fields of engineering, management, and infrastructure development, intending to develop their abilities and expand their skills to keep up with the current growth in technology.
To achieve this, the program seeks graduates to be:
- PEO1: Scientifically and technically equipped to practice the civil engineering profession as a newly graduated engineer, join postgraduate programs, and apply scientific research in civil engineering.
- PEO2: Able to identify civil engineering problems, accurately characterize these problems systematically to reach appropriate sustainable solutions, and to be able to communicate results with other disciplines within the society.
- PEO3: Capable of ethically advancing and improving the career in civil and construction engineering, and ready to take on responsibility and leadership positions due to effective teamwork abilities and problem-solving while following an organized approach.
- PEO4: Prepared to work in broad fields of civil engineering and for long-life learning through the acquisition of science and technical skills in various specializations.
