HVAC and Fluid Mechanics Lab

The HVAC and fluid mechanics lab complement Fluid Mechanics I (MENG305), Fluid Mechanics II (MENG344), and Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (MENG446) lecture courses providing the students with the necessary practical experience in the specialization track thermal sciences and Energy.

The lab also supports graduating students in graduation projects MENG 493 and MENG 495.

Experiments cover Orifice Plate, Venturi systems, Energy Losses in Hydraulic Systems, Air Handling unite related experiments, and wind tunnel-related experiments emphasizing renewable energy applications.
