Great Egyptian Museum Field Trip
On October 24th, 2023, ARUD students had the opportunity to participate in a field trip to the Grand Egyptian Museum as part of their Theory of Contemporary Architecture course taught by Dr. Aida Nayer. There they had the chance to experience some of the amazing design of the museum as well as some of the most iconic artifacts from ancient Egypt. The students had the opportunity to listen to the construction industry professionals and hear about the challenges and rewards of designing and constructing the museum; they gained a new appreciation for the expertise that goes into the design
