EAS Students Winning First Place at The SeaPerch North Africa Competition
The Egyptian Submarine Team "RE. Marine 1", led by two students in the mechanical engineering program at Nile University, Omar Ahmed and Ahmed Fawzi, won first place in Egypt and North Africa in the SeaPerch North Africa 2023 global competition at the University of Maryland, USA. They also secured 8th place out of 148 teams from around the world in the 2023 International Seaperch Challenge - Real World Innovation, which was held from 12th to 13th May at the University of Maryland, USA.

From a Bachelor of Science to a Ph.D.
Mohab Mohamed Mohamed Eid Qishawy, a student in his last year at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Department of Computer Engineering, Nile University, grade 3.65/4. He was accepted into the Ph.D. program at the College of Computer Engineering at McMaster University for 4 years on a full scholarship under the supervision of Dr. Amir Abdel Hady. The aim of the Ph.D. is to design systems that contribute to the development and improvement of computer architectures that train neural networks and their use in the field of artificial intelligence. We take such pride that Mohab M. Eid, Mohamed Khaled, and Hazem Antar, our Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE) students, represented Nile University in the Hacktick Egypt 2023 - Dell Technology Competition. The engineering students won 1st place nationally, where about 250 other teams participated from different universities. EAS Students Delivering Presentations in the 5th International Conference for Mathematics & Its Applications (ICMA23)
Nile University undergraduate students delivered two oral presentations under the supervision of Dr. Ethar Ahmed in "The 5th International Conference for Mathematics and Its Applications (ICMA23)". The two papers focused on the applications of differential equations in real life. A Site Visit to The Pediatric Hospital and Arkan Palms 205 projects
The Civil Infrastructure Engineering & Management (CIEM) program at Nile University was delighted to arrange for a site visit to the pediatric hospital and Arkan Palms 205 projects. The students were pleased to have learned a lot about the execution of construction site activities. Such visits are a part of the construction engineering and methods course and are considered a part of the NU culture to enhance the technical and practical skills of the students.
