Civil Engineering Students Field Trip to 500500 Hospital

The Civil and Construction Engineering program at Nile University organized a field trip to 500500 Hospital as part of practical implementation giving the students the necessary Industrial knowledge needed to equip themselves for the corporate world. The field trip was organized by the Solar Master Cell (SMC) company Training Sector and the CCC Student.

Architecture Engineering Manual Presentation Workshop in Heliopolis

The workshop aims to teach the students urban sketching through imaginary visual narration they create when they visit Heliopolis and move around in the streets. It stimulated their perception of the place, the beauty of the historical buildings, and the streetscape to draw and visualize through capturing the details, interacting, and seeing. This workshop is part of the Visual I course in the ARUD program with collaboration from Eng. Eslam Malak, architect and urban sketcher.

A Real Prototype Made by Junior Students at The Civil and Construction Engineering

The learning system in the School of Engineering at Nile University depends on practical applications and projects. Our junior students in the Civil and Construction Engineering program built a real prototype for a reinforced concrete villa using innovative concrete mixes. Students are engaged in this project and working along with Innovation Hub at Nile University and the academic Civil Students’ Club CCC.

Dr. Menna Tawfik's Promotion to Assistant Professor

Our warm congratulations to Dr. Menna Tawfik for her promotion; we have witnessed hard work and dedication from her side all along. Biography: Dr. Menna Tawfik has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 from Urban Design and Communities Development at Cairo University. She previously worked as an instructor in the Architecture and Urban Design Program at the German university in Cairo for nine years. She taught at multiple international universities in Germany and Barcelona, as well as supervised students

ARUD Students in 500500 Hospital

Our architecture and Urban Design third-year students had a field visit to 500500 Cancer Hospital in El-Sheikh Zayed city, one of the most significant projects on the national projects plate nowadays. The field visit is related to the Construction II course (ARUD253), where the students learn more about construction finishing materials, structure systems, etc. This site visit helped the students to relate their academic studies to real life.

Mechanical Engineering Field Trip to The Jabal Al-Zeit Station

Within the framework of cooperation between the Nile University and the institutions of the Arab Republic of Egypt to achieve sustainability and renewable energy. A field visit was made by the Mechanical Engineering students and Drs. to the Jabal Al-Zeit wind station to generate electricity from wind energy. An introductory lecture was given on renewable energy and the components of the station and its influential role in generating part of the electricity of the Republic. Then the students were introduced to how to automatically and manually control the station by specialized engineers
