Dr. Ahmed Askar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nile University. He received his MSc and PhD in Mechatronics and Robotics from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology in 2018, with part of his PhD studies conducted at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Japan. From 2020 to 2022, he was affiliated with the Centre for Rehabilitative/Assistive Robotics at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds, UK. His research interests include data-driven dynamics, robotic manipulation, rehabilitation robotics, and the application of AI in robotics.
