Dr. Mohammed Karmoose is an assistant professor at the Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) program, the Engineering and Applied Science (EAS) school at Nile University, and an assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University. He was previously a Staff Research Engineer at Samsung Semiconductors, Inc. (SSI) in San Diego, California, UCA, where he participated as a RAN1 delegate for SSI in the 3GPP standardization of 5G. He obtained his PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2019 and his M.Sc. from Alexandria University in 2013. His work in both academia and industry resulted in +14 granted US patents and +15 conference and journal publications.
