Workshop

On Monday, November 29, 2021, The Architecture and Urban Design (ARUD) program organized a workshop under the title of “Urban Sketching; The Art of Capturing Vital Moments" by the architect “Islam Malak” in downtown Cairo. The "Visual I design" course introduces the lecture to architecture students. It aims to inspire them with the professional visuals, techniques, and representations of urban sketching. As Visual I design. The course is a case-study-based course stressing the innovative and integrative learning process followed in the undergraduate program Architecture and Urban Design - ARUD at Nile University.

Such practice-oriented courses prepare students for real-life work demands and increase their employability. The main objective of organizing such workshops with famous architects in the field is to exchange their experience with the students and help them apply what they study inside classrooms in the real world and thus increase their knowledge by practicing and getting acquainted with the architecture and urban design field's requirements nowadays.
