On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, the course “ARUD 334 Theory of Architecture and Urban Form II" in The Architecture and Urban Design program, hosted award winner Arch. "Waleed Arafa", an Egyptian architect, founder and principal of Dar Arafa Architecture.  Arch. Waleed, gave a talk in his webinar to ARUD students to motivate them by narrating the journey of Dar Arafa architecture. He holds a B.Sc. in Architecture, Urban Design, and Planning, Ain Shams University, Egypt, as well as a post-graduate degree in the Conservation of Historic Buildings, AA School of Architecture in London, UK. He is currently an MA researcher in Islamic Art & Architecture, at the American University in Cairo.
