National Authority for Remote Sensing & Space Sciences -NARSS Field Trip

A field trip to National Authority for Remote Sensing & Space Sciences (NARSS) was organized by the Civil Engineering program (CIEM) as part of Surveying Course. The trip provided hands-on practice and new experience to our students and TAs, who enjoyed exploring new surveying technologies and equipment such as GIS in addition to environmental and waste-water engineering fields.The Field trip to NARSS is as an implementation - Introduction to Surveying Course. This is a practical course that depends on field and lab work where students use the surveying equipment such as total station, theodolite, and GPS for measurements. Dr. Heba AbdelMoteleb, Eng. Ahmed Mahmoud, and Research assistants attended as well.
