ARUD Students’ Semester Abroad

Seven students in their last year returned from their semester abroad, once again making us all proud of the Architecture and Urban Design program (ARUD) at Nile University (NU). Congratulations to the 3 senior students for completing their courses at ETSAB - Barcelona School of Architecture - in UPC. Thanks to Dr. Carles Crosas and Dr. Eulalia Gomez for the coordination, they took part in the urban design studio and audited an Advanced Masters course, as well as worked on their graduation project remotely choosing the site and developing the concept with the Graduation Project team at ARUD led by Dr. Sameh Elfeki. Due thanks to Sabbour Foundation for partial sponsorship and ARUD senior year faculty who made it all happen. Congratulations to the 4 ARUD students who came back from Bratislava where they were commended on their achievements in several spatial planning courses at the Spectra Center of Excellence at Slovak University of Technology (STU) under the direction of Dr. Milan Husar. They also worked on their graduation project remotely, choosing the site and developing the concept with the Graduation Project team at ARUD led by Dr. Sameh Elfeki. Our ARUD students gained experience from working with international faculty, Erasmus masters students from different nationalities, and visiting European capitals. This was only possible through the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) agreement between NU and STU
