Civil Engineering Students Explored Various Construction Aspects during a Field Trip to the Arkan Palms

As part of the Construction Engineering & Methods course within the Civil Engineering Program at Nile University, our junior students recently embarked on an enriching visit to the “Arkan_Palms 205 mega project” in El-Sheikh Zayed city.
During this enlightening field trip, our students delved into various construction facets and gained firsthand insights into the execution of diverse on-site activities, including:
- post-tensioned concrete slabs.
- Raft foundations.
- Isolated footings.
Moreover, they actively participated in a professional orientation session centered on occupational safety, acquiring vital knowledge on handling on-site hazards.
This immersive, hands-on experience is invaluable to their academic journey, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical real-world application.
