Dr. Lobna Said Reviewer in the process of grant applications for the African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence (ARISE).

Dr.  Lobna Said the Director of Microelectronics system design (MSD), Nile University has been invited to be a Reviewer in the process of grant applications for the African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence (ARISE).

The expert review process concluded in December 2021 with a shortlist of 154 candidates (from a total of 929 applicants). The 154 candidates are currently submitting full applications until 31 January 2022 after which another round of expert review will be done in February to shortlist candidates for the interview stage. At the end of the exercise, about 40 grant awards in about 40 African countries will be made.
