The Exchange Experiences of Our Students at Duisburg-Essen University, Germany
This journey allowed enthusiastic and talented students to exchange experiences and cultures through a collaborative project between Nile University and Duisburg-Essen University titled “Training in Electronic Design for Network Accounts and Communication Devices”. The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the supervision of Dr. Lobna Said, Director of the Microelectronic Systems Design Program at Nile University, and Dr. Amr Rizk, Head of the Networks and Communication Systems Lab at Duisburg-Essen University. The team of participating postgraduate students includes Mohammad Atef Mansour, Hisham Mohamed El Rafai, Mohamed Magdy Gad, Andy Ali Ansy, and Mennatullah Mahmoud. These students visited Duisburg-Essen University for two weeks. They participated in lectures and workshops on developments in point cloud technology and machine learning. They also engaged in joint research projects, including designing a point cloud on embedded systems and compression of point cloud data.
