Tarek AbdelWareth Award for Outstanding Contribution to Innovation Pillar Goes to Eng. Mohamed Essam, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
Mohamed Essam, a graduate of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Mechatronics Program at Nile University, is currently the CEO of ELPO Prosthetic Limbs Company. Mohamed’s passion for engineering and robotics began when he studied in high school in 2014. Mohamed was keen to seek and seize all opportunities related to his passion, starting with specialized study.
At the School of Engineering at Nile University, he took the entrepreneurship course to apply to incubate his project idea. With guidance and determination, Mohamed Essam’s dream of establishing his company “ELPO” came true, to provide hope to those with determination. Despite the challenges, she has turned dreams into reality, with prosthetic arms now in use and more on the horizon. This journey is just the beginning.
