Computer Vision & Image processing

In this course, an introduction to the theory and practice of computer vision. The students should be able to analyze the patterns in visual images with the view to understanding the objects and processes in the world that generate them. Major topics include image representation, image processing, feature extraction, and object recognition. The emphasis is on the learning of mathematical concepts and techniques for computer vision and its application in robotics area.
