The ECE Projects Defenses at Valeo
As part of the collaboration between the Electronics and Computer Engineering Program at Nile University and Valeo, ECE students had their projects defense represented there at its premises. Since 2021, a collaboration started between the ECE program and Valeo to provide practical courses at the senior level associated with real-life market challenges for students.
The First Egyptian Graduate Student in Egypt to receive the IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship
Mohamed Magdy is the first Egyptian graduate student in Egypt to receive an IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship. Mohamed Magdy Gad is a research assistant at NISC in the “optoelectronics and antenna design” group. He is also a graduate student in the Master of Science in Microelectronics System Design program at Nile University and his advisors are Prof. Yasser El-Batawy, and Dr. Mai Sallam. Zeyad Yassien Awarded a Scholarship from Rīgas Tehniskā Universitāte
Zeyad Yassien our senior Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering student has been awarded a scholarship for his last semester Spring 2024 - an exchange program at Rīgas Tehniskā Universitāte (Riga Technical University) in Latvia through Erasmus+.
ARUD Students’ Semester Abroad
Seven students in their last year returned from their semester abroad, once again making us all proud of the Architecture and Urban Design program (ARUD) at Nile University (NU). Congratulations to the 3 senior students for completing their courses at ETSAB - Barcelona School of Architecture - in UPC. Thanks to Dr. Carles Crosas and Dr. Eulalia Gomez for the coordination, they took part in the urban design studio and audited an Advanced Masters course, as well as worked on their graduation project remotely choosing the site and developing the concept with the Graduation Project team at ARUD
