Oriental Weavers Group Field Trip for Industrial Engineering Students
The Program of Industrial Engineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nile University made a field visit to the Oriental Weavers group at the headquarters of the International Factories Complex in El-Shorouk City. Nile University delegation listened to a full explanation of the group's activities at the beginning of the visit. Then the delegation visited three factories for carpets and various yarns and listened to the explanation of the concerned engineers. Habi Tex Factory Field Trip for Mechanical Students
As part of enhancing the professional side of the students of the Mechanical Engineering Department, a field trip was coordinated to the Habi Tex factory in the 10th of Ramadan City, because of its advanced machines in various stages of manufacturing and applying many advanced automation techniques with PLC and many other control units, which are necessary for mechanical engineers. Habi Tex is an Egyptian Textile Center is one of the leading manufacturer of cotton fabrics serving apparel manufacturers.
ARUD Students Winning at the Elazbakeya Kiosk Design Competition
Elazbakeya Kiosk design competition - ARUD students are winning the “certificate of honor”. The student competition to design the kiosks in the surroundings of Elazbakeya Park is organized by the National Organization for Urban Harmony, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. EAS Student, Youssef Ibrahim: Our MMA Champion in Russia
Congratulations to our champion student, Youssef Ibrahim, for winning 3rd place in the World Amateur Championship for MMA in Russia held between 10 – 13 November. Youssef Ibrahim is a 3rd year Engineering student who has long been training for the World Amateur Championship for MMA held in Khanty – Mansiysk, Russia. He played against many international fighters and has won 3rd place. Despite the ongoing war happening in Russia but the energy of youth doesn’t stop them from achieving their dreams and we’d like to thank our SU for supporting our champion in his journey to stardom.
Our Engineering Students Honored by Talaat Mostafa Group
Internships at NU are considered one of the core aspects of our education system. They are mandatory for students to graduate, and their goal is to enhance students' skills, expose them to the labor market, and simulate industry requirements.
