Analog and Digital Electronics Lab
Lab activities that reinforce and support the theory covered in ECEN 311 and ECEN 312 course. Design, implementation, and measurement of analog and digital electronic systems. Design of an integrated complete electronic solutions at the system level with an integration between different modules in consideration with reference to various technologies (like, microprocessors, ALUs, Image processors, ...etc.).
Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation and/or simulation, analyze and interpret data, assess and evaluate findings, and use statistical analyses and objective engineering judgment to draw conclusions.Design, model and analyze an electrical, electronic, microwave and optical system or component for a specific ICT application and identify the tools required to optimize this design.Evaluate the performance and suitability of an electrical and electronic system and circuit under specific input excitation.Understand the key principles of signal processing, control theory, and the main components of analog and digital communication systems. As well as, DSP and embedded systems.Illustrate the key performance indicators in communication systems and networks and analyze the performance of analog and digital communication systems, as well as wireless and optical communication systems and communication networks.Use appropriate specialized software packages, write computer programs, and use relevant laboratory equipment for the analysis and design of electronics and communications components and systems
