Microprocessor System Design
Structure and timing of typical microprocessors. Sample microprocessor families. Memories, UARTS, timer/ counters, serial devices and related devices. MUX and related control structures for building systems. Interrupt programming. Hardware/sotware design tradeoffs.
Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation and/or simulation, analyze and interpret data, assess and evaluate findings, and use statistical analyses and objective engineering judgment to draw conclusions.Practice research techniques and methods of investigation as an inherent part of learning.Acquire and apply new knowledge; and practice self, lifelong and other learning strategies.Design, model and analyze an electrical, electronic, microwave and optical system or component for a specific ICT application and identify the tools required to optimize this design.
