Selected Topics in Communications
This course is tailored to introduce students to the latest advances in the various fields in communications, and/or to focus on a specific area of particular interest to the discipline.
Practice research techniques and methods of investigation as an
inherent part of learning.Communicate effectively – graphically, verbally and in writing – with
a range of audiences using contemporary tools.Acquire and apply new knowledge; and practice self, lifelong and
other learning strategies.Understand the key principles of signal processing, control theory,
and the main components of analog and digital communication
systems. As well as, DSP and embedded systems.Illustrate the key performance indicators in communication systems
and networks and analyze the performance of analog and digital
communication systems, as well as wireless and optical
communication systems and communication networks
