• Be able to implement complete digital electronic systems that fulfill
• given requirements by selecting the most adequate commercial
• components.
• Be able to define a clear and precise methodology to carry out the
• development of any mechatronic system.
• Be able to generate well-structured documentation of electronic
• designs following some of the usual standards and adequately
• describing all the steps in the design procedure.
• Be able to interface to external power loads: stepper motors, dc
• motors, servomotors.
• Be able to select the supply stage(s) required for a given application
• taking into account technical issues and cost.
• Be able to acquire good competences on the functioning and
• realization of control systems with digital components for
• development of mechatronics applications.
• Be able to understand the similarity in the technical thinking (type
• series) and in economical thinking (relative costs) of processes.
• Be able to apply the cost calculation on type series.
