Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation and/or simulation, analyze and interpret data, assess and evaluate findings, and use statistical analyses and objective engineering judgment to draw conclusions. Select conventional mechanical equipment according to the required performance. Adopt suitable national and international standards and codes to: design, build, operate, inspect and maintain mechanical equipment and systems. Determine the rates of heating or cooling associated with the engineering processes. List the Main Causes of Power Losses in Engines, Air-conditioning systems, Turbines, Compressors and Pumps. Choose the optimum operating conditions for the heat and mass transport media to accomplish the highest efficiency of energy utilization.
