500500 Cancer Hospital Field Trip

500500 Cancer Hospital

The Architecture and Urban Design (ARUD) program at Nile University ARUD third-year students had a field visit to 500500 Cancer Hospital in El-Sheikh Zayed city, one of the most significant projects on the national projects plate nowadays. The field visit is from the Construction II course (ARUD253), where the students learn more about construction finishing materials, structure systems, etc. This site visit helped the students to relate their academic studies to real life.

Such practice enables students to gain real-life experience in the architecture engineering field and allows them to observe different techniques, materials, and designs. This helps and assists students in developing skills and talents that will assist them in pursuing professional education and will prepare them for future work after graduation.
