Project management

This course addresses the fundamental of project management, as well as the tools and techniques necessary to manage complex projects. These principles, largely developed and tested on engineering projects, are being successfully applied to projects of all sizes and types within the business world. They are also fully aligned with the industry standard Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), published by the worldwide Project Management Institute (PMI). The course will enable students to master projects planning, scheduling and estimating; developing approval process, including testing for alternatives; understanding project information and control systems; properly selecting resources, allocation and implementation, and post project evaluation. PERT, CPM
